Hi everyone, I am currently a Freshman at ELHS. I am taking Geometry Honors right now. I was just wondering that if I can take Algebra 2 over the summer so I can take take Trignometry and Precalculus next year in Sophomore. If you are kindly to help me, could you tell me where and how I can take Algebra 2 online over summer. Thanks!
@Hayde283 you need to talk to the GC at your school and find out what on-line credits they will accept. Each school has different rules. Our school accepts UT K-16 and Texas Tech classes but not Aleks. Our school also limits the amount of on-line credit that can be accepted and we have to pay for the courses and testing fees so make sure you are aware of the cost.
Thinkwell has an amazing Algebra 2 course. It wouldn’t get you credit, but you’d definitely ace an exam for acceleration. Just be sure you’ve learned your state’s specific objectives. What state are you in? I know a couple that offer free online courses for credit.
Try Art of Problem Solving courses. They are pretty good.
