How to thank recommenders after getting the good news

I am not sure how to thank these recommenders;

a) Took two classes with this professor.. We're in different states now and I stay in touch from time to time through E-mails.

b) ex-manager, currently coworker.. wrote a beautiful LOR

I thanked them both through email (right after they submitted their LORs). So after receiving an acceptance.. would an email suffice? Or would it be significantly better to mail a gift to the professor and pay for lunch with the ex-manager?

Thanks

I sent a handwritten card to my LOR writers, telling them where I was accepted and thanking them again for their help. I don’t think gifts are necessary. In fact, a handwritten card might be even better received since (sadly) most people don’t take the time to do it anymore.
