lol you're crazy sauron, gj on transfering in 1 year

i am =) 2 summer classes, 27 units each semester, near 4.0. so far so good. i have not heard much from colleges except invitations to apply for regents and alumni scholarships. pm me if you have a Q. good luck sauron

p.s. i forgot to add, you still have to remember to factor in work experience, volunteer, and extracurriculars. also need time for essays and apps. above all, remember you must also take time out to PARTAYYYYY!!! ;)

make sure you don't forget to mention making time for partying on your application :D

oh, don't worry. i made sure it was clear, haha! colleges want well-rounded individuals. work hard, play hard.

now, has anyone graduated after transferring in one year?

let me rephrase that: has anyone graduated in two years (one year in cc, one year at the university)?

I think there was a kid who graduated in 1 year from uva

pretty amazing...you should try it sauronvoldemort, to show your gigantitic ambitions and capabilities ^^ hehe

hahah thanks for the article. that's awesome, but i think he missed out on college. sauron, i will graduate in two years b/c i plan to minor and will slow down once i'm out of cc-- mostly to meet people and network. i have 32 ap credits, and will have 61 college semester units by the end of my first year, so i'll have regular junior-senior status. i'd just have to finish my upper division major courses and chinese minor at wherever i transfer, so i can technically finish within a year if i load up again, but it's a matter of personal preference and work hours.

Sauron, you are a history/art history major. It only has 3 or 4 pre-reqs and you probably completed 1/2 of them from AP.

It may be possible for majors with such "light" load of pre-reqs, but for those with heavier load such as engineering and business/econ/mathematics and science majors, the story changes.

Plus, it's actually better to stay an extra year at cc to complete courses beyond pre-reqs if it means fulfilling some of pre-reqs for other majors incase you decide to double major.

i agree. sauron, what's your major? business admin/bizecon here depending on where i go.

edit: jk, you're an art major. it is entirely possible. althought not easy, it is more feasible than some other science/math related majors. just make sure to balance and enjoy college.

Hmmm...I'm thinking about joining the war in Iraq. If I did that, could I transfer in one year or would I need to stay longer to complete the pre-requisits? I'm thinking about becoming a major either in Radio Communications or Physical Fitness.

still possible =) it all depends on the individual

major: art history; alt. major: history.

i really don't get it, charizard. how can u transfer in one year if u go to iraq? i might suppose that u will pay less for tuition if u join the service, but i think in the end, u must complete all the maj. and unit requirements !!!!!!!!!

by the way they released the cover for the last harry potter book. i suppose that harry potter is so famous that the book covers can someday be studied in art history in the future.
