How to transfer into UW

I am a high school senior with 3.4ish gpa 2040 SAT, but was lazy during application times. I didn't get into UW, but I really want to go there. So right now im going to go to WSU, which I don't like at all. I want to get into engineering or something math like, and UW has a better program as I understand. I am not intrested in partys or fun, just getting the best education I can as close to home.
What would be the best way to get into UW as quick as possible, and if I didn't get in again would anything bad happen? Also would it be worth it? And is UW the best engineering school in Washington State?

“I am not intrested in fun”

dude you gotta have fun sometimes. I mean getting a good education is good but everyone has to have fun.

As for transferring I know UW gets the majority of its tranfer students from Bellevue College so that may be your best bet if you want to transfer.

but wow I’m surprised you didn’t get in with your GPA and SAT. My friend got in to UW with a 3.3 Weighted and 1800 SAT. He said what got him in was boy scouts. funny thing is, he isn’t even going to UW, he chose to go to WSU instead.

I know the option sounds not as great, but if you are serious about UW I would choose a CC. Since UW is a state school they’re requiered to admit a certain amount of WA CC transfer students each year. You could try Bellevue College or a community college in Seattle. This option is a lot cheaper, and surprisingly, I’ve heard it’s way easier to transfer (if you do well, that is).
UW engineering program is a good program… yeah.
As far as for transferring, keep above a 3.5 and look into UW transfer student requirements.
