<p>Last October we filled out the CSS Profile and had to estimate the 2010 tax data. The form was submitted to an EA college. How do I get back into the form to update the estimates with real numbers -- or isn't this necessary? I can't seem to get back in to edit our Profile.</p>
<p>You can’t update the CSS Profile online. Call the colleges that require it and ask if and how they’d like to receive any updates. Some schools will want you to just print out the originally filed Profile, and then line out any incorrect amounts and write in the correct figures and send it directly to the school. Or, as was the case with my son’s school, they said they did not need the updated figures unless we were contacted about providing them at a later date – we were not, by the way.</p>
<p>Well, the real numbers aren’t all that different from the end-of-October estimates. I guess the iDoc tax returns will be enough for them, then. Thanks!</p>
<p>That was why we didn’t need to update ours too. The estimates we submitted were close to the actual numbers and they just made the necessary adjustments themselves based on our IDOC packet.</p>
