<p>that's what you do when you get accepted somewhere ED; ED is binding and you MUST withdraw all other applications if the school your applying ED to accepts you.</p>
<p>everyone is getting a little too excited about this. Yes he should have withdrawn before he got accepted, we all know that. But now that he has informed Michgan maybe they'll admit one more person than planned, maybe not. </p>
<p>It doesn't matter though, if your truly qualified to go to Michigan and not a borderline applicant you should get in regardless of this one person getting accepted when they can't accept. If you don't, I'm sorry, that's how it goes. But don't take it out on this person, they aren't the ones making the decision on your application. </p>
<p>Let them enjoy being able to say they got into Michigan, it was obviously an achievement for them and you don't need to cut them down.</p>
