I need some tips on writing the dbq and frq for apush…plzzz apush test is on friday!
id really appreciate any help. thanks

My teacher says to never directly quote more than 4 words of a document on dbq. Always summarize.

DBQ: Summarize, but also analyze. Write it like you would write an FRQ (as if you didn’t have any documents) and then incorporate the documents (by doing the (Doc. A) thing).

FRQ: Think of every little tiny nit-picky thing you can think of for the time period and the relevant theme and just incorporate that into the essay.

That’s basically what goes through my mind when I take the essay portion.

Make sure to make an outline; it is very helpful in formulating your ideas for what you want to say in a coherent fashion.

I haven’t practiced it yet(DBQ), but I am definitely not afraid of it.I will make a practice tomorrow. It is simple to just know the procedure of doing DBQ to succeed in the test as long as you are familiar with the background info.
hope this web will help good luck
