How to write essays for safeties and some other questions

<p>I was wondering how everyone wrote their essays about safeties. Essentially the only reason I'm applying to these schools are because they are the best colleges(in my opinion) that I can most likely get in. The colleges I'm applying to are pretty similar so it seems rather insincere to churn out about 4 essays with about the same content. How do you deal with it?</p>

<p>Is it possible to have a new commonapp? I read on another thread about a person who created a new commonapp application after they got rejected EA.</p>

<p>I… Actually just submitted a paper I used for my gov class and skipped the other essay for UT. Gotta love the 10% rule.</p>

<p>If you’re sure you have an auto-admit to your safeties, I’d reuse other essays or spend about an hour on them. If you’re not sure you’ll have an auto-admit based on stats, take the time to work on the essays, it’s not worth the risk in that case.</p>
