how to WRITE IN SUMMER PROGRAMS

for those of you who did summer programs (national student leadership conference, CTY or anything) did you just write it on the application?

or did you send in the certificate and proof they give you that show that you completed the program

im curious too

You just write it in somewhere.

I wrote it in, but I also had my GC send in my grades (each of which came with comments), because they were programs in my kind-of-random potential major (which my school doesn't offer), and I wanted them to see that I'd already explored it and wasn't just putting something less popular for admissions reasons.

anyone else...

Only if there was a place to include it. In like the vague extracurriculars and activities boxes. Otherwise I didn't bother sending certificates and such.

In a case like garr's I would have sent some stuff and an attatched explaination, but most of the college's I've applied to discourage you from sending extra materials and such.

Basically don't send in extra stuff just to say look at all the stuff I've done, unless a resume is requested.

i had summer programs on my resume which i mailed to all colleges with my applications...

just write it in.
