@walnorte can you pm me too please?

Hey Walnorte, could you send me that PM as well?
Thanks!

Alamemom, I need your help/opinion but I can’t send you a pm because I have not had 15 postings. I would be very grateful if you could send me an email -socal2013@********** so I can ask you my question privately. I have followed your postings and can’t thank you enough for keeping me grounded as a mom through my D journey in wanting to attending USC. Thank you so much!!

alamemom… I guess CC doesn’t like g mail… ugh

I managed to send you a message anyhow ;)

Thank you :-)

@Walnorte can you send me the appeal email too please? really need it, thanks :D

@walnorte Thanks for helping those who want to appeal!!

@Walnorte I know this is kind of late…but do you think you can send me the appeal mail too? I would GREATLYE appreciate it!

@walnorte Can you pm me the appeal letter? Help, please! Thanks in advance

Does anyone know any basic things about appealing? My question isn’t what I am supposed to send, but what I CAN send. If I know what types of things (new explanation essays, supporting letters from teachers that gave me bad grades, etc.), i can formulate my own argument to USC for why i should get in. Thanks.

I don’t see how appealing could help. They must’ve rejected us for a reason, right? Not to be a Debbie-Downer.
I’d love to go to USC, and will definitely appeal if it seems feasible and I’d have a chance. But what else can we do?

@Walnorte I’d appreciate it if you could send me some help too. Thanks in advance!

Please note that this thread is from last year, so Walnorte may not be monitoring. If you want to communicate with that poster, it may be best to send a PM.

@Walnorte can you please send it to me? thanks!

Hello out there people…walnorte has left the building. As alamemom mentioned above this post is from 2013. The poster was successful appealing in 2012 and hasn’t posted in a over a year.

@IntermsOf - concerned about the comment that “a teacher gave me a bad grade.” Really? The USC website says no recommendations and tells you what is allowed, you should read that.

Folks, if you are struggling and have to ask others what to say in an appeal then you probably shouldn’t be doing one. If it isn’t obvious to you why you should be reconsidered, it won’t be obvious to admissions either. Sorry.
