So as most of you know I have been admitted to Harpur. But after further thought, I have a growing interest in Computerscience and biomedical engineering. Therefore im gonna ask to be reevaluated and try to get admission into watson school of engineering. My question is, how much harder is it to get into watson?

I was just accepted into Watson 2 weeks ago for Early Action.

GPA 89.65 (3.5)
SATs M710 R600 W640
ECs Red Cross, Swimming, Tae Kwon Do

Recommendations Average

I must say, SOM is the hardest to get into, Watson is the hardest to stay in! :o)

If you can, email the Admissions Office ASAP and see if you can transfers immediately, based on your stats now. My friend was able to do this last year, as a freshman, from Harpur to SOM (he did have near Ivy stats though...)

Otherwise, you'll have to tough it out first semester and attain a credible GPA... then catch up with all of the other Watson kids and their classes (Watson has many many course requirements).

Good luck to you!

and by email I mean call.

and by call I mean be all over it and enthusiastic, etc.
