How valuable are these ECs and how do I show them to colleges?

<pre><code>Hi there! This summer I participated in a hands on engineering camp in which I built a mechanical engineering project ( Mechanical arm! :) ) . I built a web page on the project which includes all the information on the stages of the project. After I finished this camp, a group of friends and I decided to form a small group of builders, and we started building projects together (our first project is a project we found on instructables). How do I incorporate these projects (the ones we made/will make after the camp) into my application, since they are projects that my friends and I are building independently? Would I need to show proof of the projects? I think we might get a website and store all of our pictures and our progress on it, and then link the website on our applications. Do you guys think this is a good idea? Also, I am a junior, so I'm not applying right now, but I'd like to know so I can get a head start on what I might need to set up so that colleges have a good understanding of how I've been spending my free time. Also, I would appreciate all of your opinions on the idea of an independent group. If any of you know of any cool project ideas that we can do next, please let me know! Thank you :)
