How was the curve?

For those of you who have received your scores today, how was the curve? Generally speaking, this ACT test was tougher than the rest of them, so how was it scored? Anything big?

the curve was pretty brutal…relative to what I thought it’d turn out to be like.

I think the reading curve must have been rough. I was really disappointed with my score.

Wow the curve was extremely brutal this time; everyone thought it was harder than the April ACT but I did the same on the April compared to this. :|

Reading and science seems brutal. I was confident with those two. English seems really nice. I improved 11 points in English. I thought it was actually gonna be my weakest.

i was disappointed in my score also. D:

I went up 6 levels in reading, and I absolutely hate reading comprehension.

My reading score was a 34, that really surprised me, maybe the reading curve wasn’t as bad as we thought?

apparently the curve was bad. according to my scores. …

i think the curve was actually really nice. didn’t come close to finishing science and got a 29. the rest of the sections i knew i made losts of stupid mistakes and didnt get less than a 33 on any of them

The reading curve was brutal. I went from a 36R in February to a 32R (■■■) in June.

reading was awful. i went from a 32 to 29. >:[

From the thread where we discussed all the reading questions, I really thought I only got one wrong. I ended up with a 34.

Reading was brutal, I had a 740 SAT and a 34 on my practice tests and I had a flat 30 on the real thing, I thought English was particularly generous, Math seemed about average and I think Science was generous too, not to the same extent as English, but generous nonetheless.

What score do I need for UC Irvine? I got 24 and it was my first time. If I start studying will I be able to bump it up to a 29, or a 30??

I got a 670 last time (690 high) and a 34 in reading this time?

This was my first time taking the ACT. I got a 26, but I was pretty unfamiliar with the test. However, I will be studying next time. I am not familiar with the ACT curves, however, can someone explain? I got a 30 on Reading. In my opinion, English was the easiest, however, I did worse on that. Science was absolutely dreadful. I am anticipating my essay score, though.

My ACT scores are not listed online yet?? are you all from the west coast, I am so anxious. Anyone else missing scores from June test?

This ivers0n kid is everywhere. Jeez, why don’t you study and work on your score instead of asking the same question in every thread. If you really want to know what score you need for UC Irvine, go check the website for the middle 50%

Anyway, reading must have been more harsh than usual as I’ve heard a lot of people said they bombed it. I went down a point, but was more surprising was my math. I was expecting the biggest improvement but the opposite happened.

Yeah I agree with everyone, the curve seemed pretty rough. I got a 31 composite, but a little bit surprised at the 29 in science, but w/e. I’ll just keep my SAT score!

But, I will still probably retake the ACT in September.
