How was the PSAT?

I also got 35(pi)(r) for the cylinder one.

Homogeneous for one of the sprawl ones?

I put homogenous as well.

Ditto. Looking back, the PSAT was easier than I thought. I’m still sure that I messed up the writing section, though xD I had to guess on the last question of the first math section because of time constraints, though. Last writing questions murdered me.

I remembered I put “flamboyant” for one of my answers, you guys?

yep. flamboyant was definitely an answer

Yeah, I got that answer.

It wasnt as bad as last year… Just can’t wait to ace the SAT! There was one math problem that was kinda challenging though because the answer was 30 and I am 100% sure of that, but 30 wasn’t a given response.

Oh and something like this
1/2(x+y)

And a math problem talking about hats and scarfs?

Haha. Sorry all these are just fresh in my mind still >.<

One on the writing

It was like … If you exercise then one something low fat? Or something I just remember the “you” & “one”

I don’t remember a math question about hats and scarves…

The answer to the low fat question was C or D iirc, can’t remember exactly what the sentence was.

I put unfettered

I put 35(pi)(r^2) or something.

Can’t wait to hear i got lower then last year PSAT -_________-

i had a 162 last year

I think both of those are right lol. I bet all of you are gonna get higher than 200.

You know, you’re not supposed to talk about specific questions until after the day is over.

Anyone had the scarfs and hats math question.

Patrick, you are wrong. You neglected to include the two square numbers (36 and 81). you must subtract these, because they are not included. This gives you 28, or choice E.

Besides maybe the 1st section and some of the gridded response, it was really easy. Especially the writing; I have had a history of struggling with writing section, but that was EASY. Even based on pessimistic views (6 wrong on reading, 3 wrong on math, 4 wrong on writing), based on the Princeton review scale (70 math, 69 reading, 74 writing), i would have a 213, which since Florida has a cutoff at 212 (highest in recent memory), I would be a NMSF. However, i used all the time in each section (I hand write calculations in math so I don’t screw up).

However, stuff happens.

I thought it was okay, seeing as how I didn’t study (I’m a sophomore). The second math section was the toughest for me! Hahaa, anyone else?

^ yeah the 2nd on was hard! Cause of the grid in! Like seriously… I think I missed all of the grid in. I would be lucky to even get a 160 or maybe even a 150. But since I compared like most of my answers w/ you guys. I did “decent” on the m/c for CR and Math, but for writing, I didnt finish -____- stupid! My parents are gonna make me take prep classes!

I thought the math questions were pretty alright o.o Except I spent 5 minutes on the last question of part 1 because I mixed up surface area and volume lol
