Hell, in 4th grade being smart was popular.

More of a ******bag now, than when I was a kid.

Even back then, they still said I’d be at Harvard. People are crazy. It’s a hard chance for me to go there, or to MIT.

In 4th grade, jerks were actually considered uncool and slutiness was not glorified.

That’s like the opposite of my high school. The AP kids are the coolest/most popular and look down on d*****y jocks and hard partying

it was pretty decent. I had some social issues that my mom could have easily helped with but didn’t. Besides some moving and Katrina, it was alright. I was generally the most intelligent person in my class, I was pretty well-adjusted. It’s gotten a sheeutload better in high school though. I’m so much more “normal” [in the sense that I fit snugly into the mosaic of school and have a hard-earned place. anyone you ask about me will tell you i’m unique and don’t give a d

I like middle school years.

Academically, it’s not too challenging and I have a close knit group of friends.

Some of the kids can really be jerks to me but I have a good group of friends who share my interests.

My childhood was wonderful. I enjoyed every aspect of it. I was the sort of kid who was always reading, exploring, and learning. My parents took me cool places every year and I was constantly surrounded by friends and family. Every evening, my family ate dinner together. I was allowed to just be a kid. After homework, I went outside to play with my sister and friends or I would read books and magazines. Since I was allowed to experiment with different extracurricular activities, I learned how to play a lot of different sports. I also learned how to dance and ride horses.
