The weather certainly cooperated.

Fabulous--I love my room, the campus, and everything else besides the fact that my mother overpacked and brought too much.

my son would say the same

Have you noticed that campus employees always pull out a map when you ask them where anything is. Much more so than at HY. They should know that stuff by heart. Seems a bit odd.

It was kind of a pain moving in to one of the big 8-person suites because no one was allowed to settle in one of the 4 doubles until everyone signed a suite agreement in writing, so everyone was in limbo for 2-3 days, with the common room filled to the brim with stuff. Made it difficult to move in large objects.

My son did say the same! Weather was great, the no elevator to the fourth floor had me complaining.

He thinks its great!

Our hotel was fab, and so close to the school. Was able to get the same hotel for the same great price for Parents weekend, so I was happy.

Kat

Move-in... for me, anyway isn't quite done yet... I have yet to get rid of my cardboard boxes and such. :p

But my room's pretty sweet -- one-room double but it's huuuuge, close to all of my classes and activities, and I've got a nice view. :)

Oh, btw, it's a bit wet outside today, but I like it :)

Katwkittens - do you mind my asking what hotel? We stayed at the Amerisuites which was very close and had good rates, but couldn't get the same rate for parents weekend.

Hyatt Regency Princeton on Alexander St. Beautiful hotel. Rate was $62 per night, reg $225 per night. Paid less for Parents' Weekend, under $60. Used Hotwire. Was able to identify hotel by amenities listed and the star rating. Used betterbidding.com to pinpoint which hotel it would be.

Hope this helps!

Kat

And was able to use Ding! for $39 flight into Philly, also for Parents' Weekend.

Wow! You should take me shopping - you're an expert!
