I am highly considering transferring because I feel as if I don't really fit in here. I am almost done with my freshman year and so I think I have given it enough time. I was just wondering how hard it would be transferring spring of sophomore year as in meeting new people, getting aquatinted with a new environment and what from freshman year will transfer over? Just wanted to know since its too late to transfer next fall.

I would imagine it will be a little harder than transferring for fall semester. But I’m not speaking from experience so that’s just my guess. I think it also depends on the person.
You should take into consideration that many schools do not take applicants for mid-year transfer.

i just transferred as a second semester soph, and it’s been amazing. meeting new people is pretty easy. you meet a lot of people during orientation and then when you move in you meet the people on your floor. then you meet random people around campus through activities or in class. it’s the same as when you first start school. getting adjusted wasn’t bad for me, but that might be because i used to come up to visit about every 2 weeks lol so i’m sorry i’m not too helpful with that part. i’m not sure what you mean by what from freshman year will transfer over. if you mean credits/classes, then it depends on your future school’s policy.
