<p>Like math and physics?</p>
<p>I would expect mostly near-800s, but I may be wrong about this.</p>
<p>Subject GRE's are out of 990, not 800.</p>
<p>I have no statistics, but a couple friends and I (from Caltech) took the physics GRE last Saturday, and we all came out thinking it was pretty easy. I'd be dissapointed if I got below ~950 or so, though, to be honest, as long as one gets a decent score it really doesn't matter all so much. </p>
<p>In general, people from other schools might do a little better if just because we're very used to open book exams which have like 4 questions for 4 hours; the closed book, 100 questions in <3 hours is a little bit of a shocker without preparation.</p>
