how well do practice SATs reflect actual performance?

Hi!
This question is mainly for those who have already taken the SATs at least once. For those of you who took practice SATs prior to taking the real SATs, how well did your scores for the practices reflect your performance on the actuals?

because I am not seeing a definite trend for my performances... but that could be due to some other factors

During the summer, I took a new SAT, but I split it up over the course of 2 or 3 mornings and got the scores: Math: 740, Crit Read: 680, Writing: 710 (btw, I am taking an online Princeton Review prep course). Then, the next two sets of SATs I took I got low 600s for all three of the subjects (but this might possibly be due to the fact that I took these at night and by the time I finished it was past 11 PM and I was half asleep for the last 3 or 4 sections...?)
This morning I took another set, and I followed the first break of 15 minutes, my second break was somewhat longer because I ate lunch during that time, and ended up with self satisfying scores of Math: 800, Crit Read: 710, and Writing: 750 (I had my essay graded by Princeton Review and got a perfect 12! It amazed me because I made some grammatical errors that I shouldn't have and personally, I did not think my essay was all that great)

Since I am taking the SATs this coming Saturday (Oct 8), I was wondering if these scores are a good indication of what I am capable of doing on the actual SATs?

What do you guys think?

u will probably do somewhere close to your score, maybe like a range,
also dont go in too overconfident, doesnt help at all, and also dont be too nervous, go in lax and ready,

Just use CB's practice tests. They're almost always close enough to your actual.

Depends how well you take tests on test days. Some people like the stress of knowing that this test actually counts and raise their scores, other people freak out and do worse than they should. I'm sure by now you know which camp you belong to.
