How well do students deal with stress at JHU?

Again, I'm a bme major (one of many). I guess what I'm asking is, is a majority of jhu (bme in particular) students enjoying the learning? I'm sure they stay up late, study hard (as expected), but are a lot of students freaking out about hopelessly failing their classes and thus constantly studying? as opposed to studying hard, but knowing they can do well and compete well with their classmates. I mean, do a lot of students struggling and feeling hopelessly incompetent in their studies?

I'm just wondering about the studying atmosphere of jhu. I may be just feeling a bit of panic before leaving high school, but if anyone has any input, i would appreciate it.

At least among the BME majors, I feel like everyone (or at least the majority) really finds the material we learn fascinating. If we wanted an easy way through school, we would have switched majors (as some people do end up doing after freshmen or sophomore year). Our courses and the tests are undoubtedly hard, but most of our work is collaborative - many of us study together for exams and support each other on the way
