<p>They are unheard of among ordinary Americans but top employers would likely be familiar with them</p>
<p>Other UK schools that might be known are LSE, Edinburgh and St. Andrews (for obvious reasons).</p>

<p>I’d say more well known. The national news networks often have faculty from LSE commenting and I believe the Scottish universities encourage American applicants to apply. They are frequently mentioned in articles about American students attending university abroad, along with Canadian schools.</p>
<p>@tomofboston alright. Is it by a large margin though? I’m struggling to decide Imperial/UCL/LSE and want to work in the US sometime in the future. I didn’t even know LSE was that famous in the US until you told me</p>
