Now most of the people have their scores, can someone guess about the curves on the test.
I am Int'l so i'll have to wait to wait for 2 weeks more:(

I would like to know the same thing...

I cant tell you about eng/reading/sci but i can help you with math:

33 ---> 17, 17, 15

So I missed seven and got a 33. That seems pretty generous.

29-

33- reading
33- english
25- math
24- science

man, i was so nervous, i choked on math and science. *TT im *ed off.

Here's what I got, if it helps:
ENGLISH
18/17 --> 35

MATH
17/14/15 --> 30

READING
17/15 --> 32

lollipop, that doesn't mean you missed seven. You probably missed more like 3-4.

19382 - but i flat out guessed on the last 6. plus i know i got some other wrong. i cant imagine only getting 3-4 wrong.

There's no way getting more than 4 wrong would still leave you with a 33.

each subscore is out of 18. so a 17, 17, 15 would mean you missed 5.

i missed 2 in english and got a 35
i missed 1 in reading and got a 35
i missed 7 in math and got a 32

i thought the curve on math was very fair as i definitely skipped 6 and wound up with a 33

the curve was definitely pretty ridiculous. i guessed on five math questions and i got a 35 on math. plus, i didn't even read the last reading passage because i ran out of time, and i ended up with a 30 for reading.

I did the same. I guessed A on every question of the last passage and got a 30.

ivyracer i did the same thing.. i had two minutes to do all of the questions for the last reading section, i just looked at answer choices and used common sense..

yeah - curves were reallllly nice

curves were pretty damn generous, i could tell you that much.

The subscores are just converted scores like the other four scores and do not indicate how many you missed (except that if you didn't get 18, you know you missed at least one--but getting 18 doesn't mean you didn't miss any). Sometimes you can, for example, miss one in a subscore area and still get 18. And notice there are 60 questions on the math test, not 3*18=54.

On the test in Preparing for the ACT, a 33 in math means you missed 5. I would guess the range is about 3-6.

What about the science curve, is it as harsh as ever?

no. the science was pretty ridiculous too!! The worst section I thought I did on was science, I guessed on the last TEN questions...and I got a 31...sooo I thought the curve was pretty good there..

OMG! Asianjewel you give me hope that I got above a 20 on science (gussed on 13 questions =O...)
