How were you all introduced to CC?

I was on the Princeton Review forums a couple of times and all of the people were always refering to CC.

I was on the Princeton Review forums a couple of times and all of the people were always refering to CC.

Older brother.

He was introduced like last year...dunno how.

Googled stuff about my college and CC kept coming up, so I finally joined to ask/answer some questions of my own.

Found it on a search engine when looking into Cornell. I started reading and signed up...took like a week for me to get access and I kept emailing the admins asking why I hadn't gotten confirmed yet! :)

I googled something about college and this always came up.

It took me the longest time to figure this was a forum. :D

I had a couple friends who would keep mentioning it, so I looked it up. And then got hooked. Haha.

Googled "how to score high in the SATs"

my mom. im not sure how she found it.

I think I was googling something too... I just remember it was the day after the PSAT last year, and I somehow came across these people as obsessed with discussing the answers as I was. "Wow, what nerds. I'm so joining." Something like that.

Googled "How to conquer the Universe", or something along those lines.

:)

Whenever I googled something about SATs or colleges in the search term, this invariably came up. I first googled something about premed and came to this site.

I was on Google running searches for the best colleges for theatre/acting. I ended up on the CC "best theatre/drama colleges" thread and read through it for months before exploring the other aspects of CC and actually signing up and posting.

I think it was through one of the college-specific communities on LiveJournal ("Ask the folks over on CC; I'm sure they'll know"). Either that, or searching for the National Merit cut-off score for DC (not that it mattered, in the end; I got a 232 but didn't qualify because I'm not a US citizen).

After I took the SAT II Bio october of my sophomore year...googling answers and I came up with CC.

And as they say, the rest is history!

Wait, for national merit you have to be a US citizen?

i was googling something about colleges (i think something like "best business schools") and CC came up. Me, with my obsession with forums, immedietely joined. For a while all I did was stay in the Penn forum but now I have spread out lol.

i searched for the who's who scholarship and cc came up saying it was a scam, so i signed up

my mother sent me a link to the TASP thread she found through google. when I was considering applying.

Goooooogle.

A teacher recommended that I look into Caltech. So I started googling "caltech this" and "caltech that" and more often than not CC came up.
