Alright, I've been paranoid about my 2nd semester grade in AP Chemistry for months now. I have gotten all A's in every class except for AP Chem 2nd semester, in which I got a D. I got a B 1st semester.
Sorry if I sound like a stickler for freaking out over this, but I just want to know if Universities bother looking at individual grades? Because my transcript has A's in all Honors and AP classes, and then they see this sudden drop in AP Chemistry, with a D, and I don't know how they'd perceive that in admissions...
I'm not looking to apply into Ivies and such because of this, but definitely into a top 100.

D for semester!!! Yea they definetely look at this stuff with more weight towards 11th grade
Honestly with AP Chem, it won’t make as big of a difference as you would think. You’re a smart kid and they see that through the rest of your grades. Chem is not for everyone and it shows you are committed to your education that you even took that class.
Don’t worry about it
