How will a nose piercing affect my future? (please help)

Kathleen town said: you cannot be denied a job either based on your body piercings and tattoos.

Sure you can. I work in the financial services industry, and my employer’s dress code does not permit visible tattoos, unusual hair, or multiple earrings. Only one pierced earring per ear for women are permitted. So…all tattoos must be covered, and nose rings, multiple pierced earrings, etc. must be removed. Hair must be “conservative.” If you don’t agree to the dress code, you won’t be hired.

No, its not discrimination; its the way the company wants its employees to look when working with customers.

I’m not getting the piercing. Thank you all :)

It is (usually) legal discrimination. Discrimination is not necessarily illegal or undesirable. For example, discrimination on the basis of ability to do the job is generally considered legal and desirable.

However, where employer dress codes sometimes cross the line into possibly being considered illegal discrimination comes up in cases where an employer dress code conflicts with some article of clothing or accessory that an employee wears for religious purposes.
