I was just wondering if college admissions officers looks at AP Scores when making a decision of whether or not to accept you. I just got my scores back and with last year I have two 5's (Euro and US) , a 4 (Chem) and a 3 on AP Lang which I am very ****ed about. I will be applying to most schools under History (both 5's) but I was wondering if the 3 will hurt my chances or what. Please let me know.

I wouldn’t think so (although I don’t know for sure). As long as your SAT scores are good and your grades look decent, they should look over one mediocre AP score (a 3 isn’t even that bad). I’m not even sure you have to submit every score to every college.

Best of luck to you!

bump!!!

No it will not, you don’t have to send it and I recommend that you refrain from sending it if you are applying to top universities (Harvard, Vanderbilt, Johns Hopkins, Columbia, Stanford, etc.). It will seem bad however if you are looking to get into the English field. If not, then send the two 5s and the 4 in Chemistry.

Thank you, ya I plan to major in something history related or Business and Language doesn’t really relate to it at all.
