So I've been doing pretty well in my pre-med classes up until this semester. I got an A in General Chem I & II, A in General Bio, B in Physics I, A- in analytical chemistry (which my school requires to take Orgo). This semester has been rough though, taking 17 hours. Going into finals I'll end up with a B-B+ in Orgo I, and a C in Physics II, and a B-B+ in Inorganic Chemistry. I'm a sophomore currently and disregarding this semester have a 3.8 GPA. How will this bad of a semester look to med schools, especially because I am a sophomore and especially considering my poor performance in Physics? (I'll probably end up with a total overall GPA of 3.5) I am confident that I can step up my game next year but I don't know if it will be too late. Probably taking a Gap Year anyway, but any advice?

Thanks!
