How will college admissions view 5000+ hours of volunteering?

Hello, so I've been working at a therapeutic riding program since 7th grade, and plan on doing it all through high school (I'm a sophomore now). I work 4 days a week, 3.5 hours each day plus summer camps. I have risen to a leadership role and am now an assistant instructor. I was also on an equestrian show team for 2 years.

I also have really good grade and will be participating in a super competitive science research internship all summer (only 7% admitted).

Will colleges really like that I have 5000+ hours, all at the same place?

Is it better to spread hours out over multiple activities, or does this show commitment? Will this, combined with my grades, give me a really strong app?

Any other thoughts??
Thanks!

Colleges will always prefer quality over quantity.

^^Not if the thing that you volunteer at is something that you love.

It is something I love to do, I don’t think I would have a leadership position and go 4 times a week for 6 years if I didn’t…

Colleges do take into consideration all of the volunteer and extracurricular activities. However, they do not take it very serious. Since these hours cannot be identified, anyone can just put they have been working as a doctor assistance–how do they know its true? Decisions are based on your grades in high school and your standardized tests. Get high scores in the SATs, etc. and also give them a plus by talking about your volunteering work. Also, very nice, 5,000 hours is a lot of time. Good Luck.
