Do they usually email you or call you?
My guess is that will call the parents first
They will usually give you a letter but I’m pretty sure they are not taking people off the wait list this year.But who knows.
I recall reading here about two maybe three applicants that were taken off the list this year. First payments are probably due soon for most schools so maybe some movement because of extreme circumstances but highly unlikely I would think.
I think the waitlist stories here are fiction: I spoke with a couple of people recently -internal-and they said there aren’t any…The final tuition payment deadline has passed. It was a couple of weeks ago.
Exeter definitely went to their waitlist this past spring. I know one incoming prep that was offered a spot at the very beginning of April. The parents received a call from admissions and they were given 24 hours to decide if they wanted the spot or not. I’m not sure if there were others but there was at least one happy kid
