Hi guys,

I had previously taken the SAT, got 1980 - garbage.

My recent ACT results came out...I got a 33! It's about a 2200. Breakdown:

ACT Composite: 33
English: 35
Math: 36
Reading: 32
Science: 30 (Science was hard AF in Sept test)

Essay 8/12 (I was devastated after science and gave up)
English + Writing: 31

I've heard GT only looks at ACT Math, English, and English + Writing. That's absolutely fantastic for me (except the terrible english + writing cause of the 8/12 essay). How does GT look at this? Will they take my Math, English, and English + Writing score and create their own composite?

Or do they evaluate each subject separately? I will also be taking the SAT in 2 weeks and plan on scoring at least 750 on the SAT Writing, which I know can be used instead of the ACT Writing + English score.

SO - How will GT look at my ACT? Will they look at it as a 34 (average of the 3 scores), or weigh the ACT Math more than English, or what? Help would be appreciated, thanks guys!

I really want to get in, but have a terrible GT Weighted GPA of around 3.4 or 3.5...but great EC's. Help would be appreciated.
