How will international applicants be notified?

will international applicants be notified by snail mail or email? can international applicants view the decisions on line?

Yes.. You can view the decisions online. You do have a MyMIT account right? Once decisions are posted, you will be able to access a special decisions webpage where you can check the outcome… And if you applied by paper, you still have to register for an MyMIT Id, with your application number and they will link your account to your application… I am not very sure about the procedure for that though. But you can check your decisions online, and they also send the results through snail mail…

caltech fedexes it. Surely MIT will do so too.

decisions.mit.edu

decisions does not work anymore. It directs to MITadmissions.

It will be up again once the regular decision admits are finalized on the day of the release of decisions though…

angelutza, from [Ben’s blog entry](www.mitadmissions.org/topics/apply/the_selection_process_application_reading_committee_and_decisions/online_decisions_to_be_release_1.shtml) today:

I saw it now. Thanks anyway.

Yeah, you can view it online. A few days (up to one week) later, a FedEx package will come for you, if you get in. I believe they mail rejection letters by regular (or maybe expedited) international mail though. But definitely not courier…

at least they make the decisions online first before sending them out. Maybe I am just going to see that decision when all my other decisions come out…
