How will my 1600 sat score affect me compared to my 2400 score

I have a really good 1600 SAT score but an ok 2400 one because my writing was relativity low how will this affect me at these schools.

Columbia
Yale
Dartmouth
Princeton
Yale
Duke
Harvard

my SAT scores are 800 math 800 cr 680 writing
i've done pretty well on sat subject tests as well as having a pretty good class rank
so my main concern is how big of an impact will my writing score have on admission

Don't worry about it. At this point, your SATs are not going to be what gets you in/keeps you out. You have excellent scores.

My highest single sitting on the SAT was 800CR, 770M, 690W.

I've heard that the writing portion is counted the least by many colleges, and a few disregard it entirely.

wow Gryffon, my first SAT score is indentical to yours, except I got a 680 W. I did retake though and brought my W to 750, just in case.

I think that would be fine.
Some guy i knew had a 660 CR and 710 W and got into Yale.

if you're not a senior, see if you can take it again. i got 650 the first time, and without prep raised it to 770, (writing)

when i say without prep, i mean without additional prep... i obviously studied.. just not any more than i did for M or CR

You're fine... your scores are totally average or above average for each of the Ivies.
