Thanks for all the responses! I got a couple of strong ideas in my head now

I just noticed something. The question was how would I contribute if I was a boarding student T_T. Care to help me out again guys?

Bumpedy bumpedy bump bump bump!

That’s showing us again why we all need to read carefully. If one has had BS experience, you could contribute by helping kids who are having a hard time adjusting to the new lifestyle.

Don’t confuse “contribution” with “resume builder”. Although it is tempting to go for the obvious, ie; music ability, athleticism, art ability and how you will pursue those abilities at bs, you don’t have to cite those skills. Contributions can be a good sense of humor, or a stubborn streak that doesn’t allow you to sit back and watch an injustice…Can be a very green person, looking for a school and considering how the school can be more environmentally friendly. You could even say that you are a “morning person” and that you will contribute a sunny, energetic disposition at a time when many of your peers might still be groggy eyed and half asleep. Think about it, everyone is going to say something about either music, drama, arts, math, athletics and how they will move to the next level. Why not consider standing out and talking about something that really means something to you on a personal level.

excellent contribution by zuzu’spetals.

I must agree as well but You should also include a sport or intrument of some kind. Some, as I have seen on threads, have unique EC’s that are sports and music related-Be original!
