How would a double major in Econ and CS work?

Hi,

I was wondering how exactly someone can double major in econ and CS since they're in different schools? My first choice would be econ because then I can do management consulting (and its a bit easier to get into as an undergrad to LSA than Engineering), but if I want to double major, is that even possible?

thanks!

An easy way to major in both is that Computer Science is available through LS&A, in addition to the College of Engineering. For requirements, see the Bulletin at http://www.lsa.umich.edu/lsa/detail/0,2034,1991_article_1256,00.html

lol wow I'm a dee dee dee. Thanks man!

Yeah you would have to do CS LSA. One of my good friends and roommates is exactly doing that, he is double majoring in CS and Econ. It's possible, but its going to get tough. Essentially, you schedule throughout college is going to be 1 Econ + 2 CS courses per semester + 1 other class. It helps if you have a lot of AP credit coming in.
