How would georgetown find out that you're applying ed to another school and ea?

How would georgetown find out that you're applying ed to another school and ea to a common app institute?

They use different apps so how would they be able to find out?

Im applying rea to georgetown but i want to apply ed to cornell

your college counsellor tells them, because the colleges will stop accepting kids from your school if they don’t.

^That is very true… You have to go through your college counselor to request that your transcripts and administrative/counselor profile letter be sent to the school to which you are applying early (ED, SCEA, or EA). The counselor/registrar is obligated to tell you that you may not apply ED to one school and EA/SCEA to another school and that they will not send the necessary paperwork (transcripts, etc.) to complete your application package for the EA/SCEA school (if you tried to apply to both). Naviance will also alert the counselors/registrar, if your school uses that tool.

My son class was told that if they applied ED to a school and then realized they’d made a terrible mistake the college counselors, in addition to the applicant, must write a letter withdrawing the ED application and the counselors would follow up with a phone call to the university/college. Only then, if there were time, could you possibly apply EA/SCEA to a different school.

If you were to try and apply ED and to an EA/SCEA school, you could risk not being able to go to any four year college. When colleges are rejecting 80% plus of their applicants, it is really easy to exclude someone who would so blatantly violates the rules. You should not consider doing this since you have too much to lose.

Just apply RD and relax.
