How would this look to colleges?

<p>I think that I'm going to be put in an SAT-prep class for my only free semester junior year. I think that any SAT-prep whatsoever would be extremely beneficial, but it would be going on my transcript and I was wondering if taking it in place of an AP class or something would look bad to top colleges. Any insight at all would be greatly appreciated :)</p>

<p>It’s not going to be a big deal either way because it’s just one class, but I’d recommend taking an AP class if possible and preparing for the SAT outside of school.</p>

<p>It depends on the schools you’re applying to. An SAT prep class would not be reported on the UC app so they will not even see it.</p>
