Hello, let me first say that college had it’s downs for me that past 3 years. New to the college experience I was really lost with not a lot of guidance and direction with that being said, my grades are completely crap - 2.0. My sophomore year I dropped out and worked until this point where I am in my life and want to give school another shot. I had this theory that if I would have an legal name change with a new SS number and I never had any financial debt or student aid, what would be my chances of starting over at a new college where I can have a better fresh start to move forward to a college I really want to go to?
I know some of you will say, don’t do that, that’s academic dishonesty" and so on, but for me, to be frank I don’t care (in a nice way). I want to just go to college and live on campus and take all the hindsight I developed over the years and be a great student and a leader to students that may have gone through the same situation as I did. The school I want to go to is very strict on no academic forgiveness, and it’s not like i’m not going to be giving them the crap load of money that they don’t already ask for, I just want to go there and if I fail that’s my problem. Someone like me has this burden on their shoulders of a bad past and wants a brighter future, what’s the problem with that? Anyways, please just post what you think. But also, give me some advice, I don’t always know all the options that schools allow. Thanks.
