It's already a rainy day, then boom. Car accident, 3 dead, 2 from my school. Happened yesterday ~3PM and today, most of the Koreans wore black. So black section at lunch:p Signatures and letters are by the tons.
See how the death of a few can affect so many? This black girl that knew me heard of some Asians that got in a car accident. And I was one of the few Asians so she immediately thought woe is me. You never think it could happen to you or anyone that you know..

It happens at a lot of schools. There were two in the last year in my area. One had an overdose and the other was in a car accident. It's sad, but that's life.

I don't care too much, as I know few people in my school. Yet, tons of people, even if they have no clue who the person was, will show up at the funeral.

Yeah, we had a kid collapse and die while running for cross-country a few weeks back. The whole school was a wreck for at least a week. And just this morning, a girl who was present at the Columbine shooting (she was shot in the stomach from point blank range with a shotgun...miraculously survived because she was so overweight. No joke.) came to speak to our school this morning because a kid at another school in our district committed suicide in the school's courtyard. Intense stuff, and the girl from Columbine's message was surprisingly moving. I cannot imagine, not even for a second, the terror that went through that town that day.

Last year, we had a senior die in a car accident. Yes, alcohol was involved. I didn't know her at all, but it was still really sad, especially since she apparently a very nice person.

We had a senior and a freshman die last year, both in car accidents. The whole school was sad about the senior (who from what I hear was very funny and outgoing), but relatively few people seemed to care about the freshman. It's sad.

wow, so many people die in your schools... you gottabe careful

Sorry to break the mood, but how much did that heifer weigh:p Yep, 3 kids died in this incident, 2 seniors at my school, 1 junior that used to go there. Since he doesn't go there now, they really didn't bother mentioning him though.

There was this Senior at my school who died a year ago I think. It's really sad: He ditched the last period and went to hang aroung at the nearby train station. A friend of his threw his back pack onto the tracks, so he went down to get it. Out of nowhere a train going at 100 km/h comes and runs him over.
They had a minute of silence the day after and people (complete strangers) payed their respects to the kids Mom.
But what really ****ed me off was two losers who were laughing while everyone was standing silently for that minute.

Some girl in my grade died in a car accident last year. A couple others were injured, but they were all high and/or drunk. Didnt matter to me, she was a jerk to me.

A senior girl died last year because of heart problems. It was sad, she was a pretty popular and well-liked person. It even affected me a little bit since I knew her name and had had her in one of my math classes in 7th grade. I didn't go, but I heard that her memorial service was PACKED.

This past summer we had a girl in the class ahead of mine killed by two of her classmates. It was pretty crazy because most of us knew either her or her killers. They tried to drive to Canada, but got stopped at the border - their names were put in the system or whatever like 40 minutes before they got there. One of them rode my bus - I was glad that I never had to sit next to him - but I didn't know the victim or the other killer, so I wasn't too affected.

The school would have been a complete mess if this had happened in the school year. I'm really grateful it didn't.

a guy died about a couple of years back due to a drive by shooting. i think he was waiting at the bus stop or something and they just randomly shot him. the family came to the school and asked for donations for a proper funeral b/c they were so poor. it was so depressing. he wanted to go to a UC college and wanted to be a lawyer or something i forget. even tho u might not know the person its still shocking to hear something so tragic

We had like six kids die at our school in the span of a year. Two in a car wreck during the summer, one in a car accident a few weeks into school (going 85ish mph in a 35 zone), another in a car accident (in the car with another kid from another school who got killed I think), and then a girl was set on fire by her b/f when she told him she was pregnant, and it turns out she wasn't. The last one was probably the saddest since it was murder, but it's been hard on the school to have so many die in car accidents. Yet, kids are still reckless. I think the fact no one changes the way they drive or act is the really depressing thing to me, especially the ones who were close friends with those who died. A kid also died 3 years ago when I was a freshman.

A girl at my school was run over by a train right behind the school...

^Wow...how does that happen? Was she blind and death?

Most of the students that died around here were involved in bad car accidents.

Some girl died of a brain aneurysm a few yrs ago, but that was before I was a freshman. Nobody's died thankfully since I've been at this high school. No car accidents and none of that. Wow, we really are the nerd school.

A girl in my school hit a tree while skiing due to a faulty footlatch mechanism during my sophomore year. The school was pretty shaken, especially her boyfriend.

I feel sorry for the friend...

The summer after 6th grade, a good friend of mine died in a car accident when the driver fell asleep at the wheel (vacation trip, early morning drive).

Sophomore year of high school, a boy I had known since 1st grade died of cancer.

This past summer, a guy in my dorm passed away due to cancer as well.

I feel sad because they were all nice people and did not do anything to "deserve" what happened. It's a good reminder to the rest of us to take action and strive for our goals (and all that cheesy stuff) because if we put it off... we might run out of time.
