Your average peers came on this site and found out that you were an avid poster? What do you think their reactions would be? Would they laugh at you? Would they not understand this? I think I'll get a lot of laughs if anyone at my school ever found out I was on here...

I don't think they would ever know I posted here. Most people at my school would not understand this site and thus would call it stupid and not come here anymore. I don't think they'll laugh at me if they knew, though.

I think a few of them would join in, and act just like me.

Others would just laugh and be like, "That's so her..."

Some of my friends would probably joke around with it.

People would scoff and say, "Get a life". I say, "Look who's talking, Myspace whore!"

Seriously, which would you pick? CC or Myspace?

No one would care because no one in my school knows me. Let's hope it stays that way. It is better to be ignored than be ridiculed, since befriending people is simply not an option.
I would take CC over MySpace any day of the week, mainly because the latter holds many people from my school that have sticks gone far up the bi-gender canyon sinkhole.

CC, of course!

I've recognized someone from my school who posted their stats last application season, and I kind of guffawed at his username.

personally, I'd rather no one I know recognized me here :).

knowing the competitiveness of my school, people from my school would probably start posting there stats trying to impress everyone.

MySpace causes a lot of trouble in my school. Just now, some of my friends are fighting with each other because one said some derogatory names to the other on MySpace. You guys are pretty smart to figure out what caused all of this.

I like to sneak on Myspace and see all the stupid 7th-and-8th graders swoon over their "true loves". I also think it's hilarious that the little cheerleaders are out there posting provacative pictures of themselves. I have a friend who once posted a rather eye-opening picture of herself, and it totally disgusted me. I haven't told her yet. It seems everyone wants to be a model these days.

I like how almost everyone there has the trademark MySpace photo of themselves in front of a mirror and you can see the camera! It's hilarious!

I know! Tacky, isn't it? And then there's "Me with makeup" and "me with no makeup". Everyone rates each other on their attractiveness, and it's gotten really shallow.

One might ask "Why can't you just aim the camera at yourself instead of the mirror?"
I find it very funny that you freshmen are dissing people just one grade level below yourselves.

It's freshman nature

Or the universal nature of high school students, since most that I know do so to elevate their internal assessments of themselves.

myspace is creepy..i used to go on (i was never really obsessed with it, though, like a ton of my friends), but then it just started disgusting me. like, the 13-year-olds taking pictures of their cleavage. and the random messages you get from 25-year-old guys..that's why facebook is way better. it's more..selective? or something. haha

It's more... restrained.

I really like facebook.

i think i like facebook because all the people on it are the people i actually like at my school haha. :)

Yeah. No offense to any myspacers... but they are usually the, ah, skanks.
