This. I’m gonna take guitar and tennis to try to meet people in a non-academic setting. They’re technically classes but there are no clubs that interest me, and I figure I’ll meet some cool people.

CaseSpartan10,

Oh okay, I get what you mean now. lol well now I can’t wait to make each year better than the next!

first year: 9.5 (amazing.)
sophomore year: 5 (i was in a really sh***y, complicated relationship and was dealing with that BS for most of it. but i did really well academically & got involved with awesome extracurricular things)

i think junior year will be better.

Freshman year: 6 (not involved much, but at least better than high school)

Sophomore year: First semester 7, Second Semester 9 (things started to really pick up lol)

It’s either than Junior and Senior year will be a 10+ or the other year’s ratings will decrease by default :)

1st year: 9. Ended up with the best roommate and found a great group of friends, and did good academically, had loads of fun. I only rated it down because I know it is going to get even better next year (and the year after!).

8/10

pretty awesome overall
-1 for hating my roommates
-1 for grades lower than i expected

wow this is great that everyone has such high ratings for themselves! for me, i have to split it into the two semesters cause they were completely different. My first semester was around a 2 (i was having some real self esteem and shyness issues). Thankfully though, the spring semester was an 8.5!!! it would have been a 10 if it hadn’t been for ongoing problems with my roommate, but who doesn’t have those? :)

Agreed. So many people recommend going to a community college first because it’s cheaper, but the social experience you miss out on is crippling.

7/10. Fall and Spring were great, Winter sucked. I also didn’t get as involved as I should have, and I’m still working on raising my overall GPA after a disastrous fall quarter. I’m loving it here though, and next year is gonna be really awesome.

looks like involvement makes all the difference huh…
