I have a presentation tomorrow in 4th and 6th period. Both teachers will not allow me to do the presentation at a different time. If I miss the presentation I get a 0. The 4th period teacher is willing to let me do the presentation in 6th period because that's her next AP Lang class. I cannot do that without missing the presentation in 6th.

Meanwhile, I have a mandatory rehearsal for the graduation ceremony during 4th period. (I play in the orchestra) I'm not certain what the ramifications are for missing this rehearsal, but based on the nature of the teacher, they will be severe.
Bith presentations are worth an enormous portion of my grade. (Roughly 15-25%)

Would each presentation take up a whole period? In not, you could go to your 4th period rehearsal, and then do your first presentation during the first half of 6th period and then your other presentation during the second half. Just talk fast.

Clearly a class you actually have scheduled during a certain period should take precedence over the arbitrarily scheduled orchestra practice. Explain your situation to the orchestra teacher, and if he/she gives you a hard time, go to administration or something.

I’d go and beg the 4th period teacher, if they still say no try to explain it to the person in charge of graduation, if they also are a jerk, I’d just go to the presentation and suffer the consequence from the graduation haha. Rather hear them ***** than take a 0

Who cares ur a senior

I’m a soloist in the performance, and this is our last rehearsal. I don’t think the administration is going to be that supportive because graduation is on Friday.

I agree with Kongo. Class always takes precedence over orchestra. I’d see your GC and ask for help with scheduling. Your grades should not suffer as a result of your participation in the graduation ceremony.

Explain the situation to all 3 of these teachers- at least one of them should have the decency to let you reschedule. If all 3 are unforgiving, skip rehearsal. It’s a tough choice, but it’s really the only thing you can do.

I’m guessing you didn’t get senioritis?
