how would you indicate that a course you're taking was taken at a local university?

For the supplement, I am trying to make sure that people aren't going to look at the "Third Year French Conversation" on my application and think I've somehow gone down several years (my high school has no more French courses for me), and my local state university doesn't have anything higher than that(!), beyond independent study or film studies.

The same goes for another course I am taking -- also, if you haven't registered for a course yet, but plan to take it, can you put it down? I was enrolled for a normal Calc C course, but they cancelled it because of insufficient enrollment (a minimum of 12 was required) -- so now I am arranging to do it independent-study and take introductory engineering in the old slot this spring (for 3 courses). How do I acknowledge all of this on the supplement?

(I also don't have enough slots ...)

Someone...?

Anyone? This is kind of urgent.

HELLO?

I am sure there are a lot of Penn applicants who have dual-enrolled. My only math and foreign language courses were taken at a local state university because my own school ran out.

Please, somebody?!

maybe you want to put in in the additional information section

There isn't one in the supplement.

However, I read that the course choices in the main app aren't "printed in the application", so I assume Penn will not see that; I am just confused at the whole duplication thing.

There is an additional info in the main portion of the Common App. Put it there.

It will look funny though for my other schools?

And that's not counting the fact that I still can't list all of my regular courses -- I have more than two physical sciences and more than two social sciences this year.

despondence :(

Just delete it after you send it to Penn, then. The additional info section is there for reasons like this.
