I applied to a couple of schools. Havent heard from them but i am just curious how you guys view them. Here are my schools in no particular order.

New York University
University of Michigan at Ann Arbor
Indiana Bloomington at Bloomington
Boston College
Emory University
University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
The College of New Jersey
Rutgers
Georgetown University

ap calc, ap us his, ap micro, ap macro - all 5

mhs
band-first clarinet

I assume the business schools because this is the business school forum...

NYU Stern
Michigan Ross
Georgetown Mcdonough
UNC Kenan Flagler
Indiana Kelley
Emory Goizuetta
BC Carroll
Rutgers

That's my ranking in terms of recruiting. In terms of experience overall (college) I would say it's between NYU and Michigan. Ross is also EXCELLENT. Indiana is nothing to frown about, they have a sick accounting program there.

I think Georgetown is the clear number 3/4 here alongside Kenan Flagler. Ross is a very reputable business school, and Stern is also very good but benefits greatly from being in NY, and therefore are better than Georgetown. I'm not saying Georgetown isn't good, I mean I'm applying there, I would love to go there. It's not Stern or Ross.

Georgetown's business school isn't that great at all; it's just its overall reputation and prestige that lures top recruiters, especially for i-banking. A current McDonough junior tells me that the undergraduate b-school at Georgetown is a lot stronger than its graduate b-school.

But I agree with everyone else on the general rankings of Stern and Ross on top with the rest following.

NYU Stern is a bit more prestigious than UMich Ross, though UMich Ross is very reputable as well.
