to get my SAT score up?
I've taken it once, and I'm taking it again come fall.
I got an 1830, and hope to go to a middle or top-tier UC school.
590 in math, 650 in writing, and 590 in critical reading, so an 1830 overall :)
I'm brilliant in math when it comes to schoolwork, but I never test well when it's multiple choice. FML.
I'm going to study hard on that section, AND the critical reading section.
BUT, any suggestions for quick improvement? I've used the CB SAT guide, but the explanations never help me too well :/.
Critical reading I just think I'll take more practice tests with, because it's only bound to get better if I time myself better.
Thanks :)!

Edit: I want to get my score to 2000+, my dream would be like...a 2300 :)

The SAT math isn’t particularly good at showing mathmatical knowledge from my experience. You can always take a SAT math subject test to show it better, as it’s based more on knowledge then whatever the sat 1 math is based on.

Find a lot of books to study from and if you get something wrong make sure you learn from your mistake as the SAT likes to use similar questions\ concepts over and over again. If the answer in the back doesn’t satisfy your curiousity, that’s why forums like this exist.

Writing is probably the easiest to improve if it’s not the essay bringing your score down. Just learn most of the rules up at Sparknotes and the such.
