Howard Packets 2019

Has anyone received their official packet from Howard in snail mail? We were expecting it prior to the end of January, but still nothing.

@mom2engineerstud My daughter received her packet last year on 2/26 for the class of 2022, if that helps at all. Looking back at last year’s thread, the 1st person who reported receiving a packet was on 2/22/18.

Thank you!!! My older daughter is class of 21, but I couldn’t recall when her package arrived. The 2 emails Howard sent said that the packet would be sent by the end of Jauary, so my second DD is patiently hugging the mailbox.

My daughter received her packet yesterday.

Thank you for sharing. Was she ED or EA? My DD was an EA acceptance. I was also told that with the government shutdown, there may be some delays in financial information.
Did you receive the full financial packet?

She’s EA. The packet included an acceptance/admission letter and a letter outlining her merit scholarship award. The Merit letter said that financial aid award notifications will be sent out by mid-Spring.

fildad, congrats! My D received her acceptance email yesterday but no details on merit scholarships. Does anyone know the timeframe for receiving that information if you didn’t apply for early action/decision???

@fiidad - My daughter received her packet in the mail yesterday with the same - acceptance/admission letter and merit scholarship letter.
Thank you for your reply.

Everyone should have them by late March for the most part.

Those accepted in April would have to get them almost simultaneously as the enrollment fee is needed by may 1st

Someone from the admissions office informed me that most decisions will come out in the middle of March.

Just curious @HowardNxtGen…when did your daughter apply? I thought acceptances came out only twice: once for EA/ED and then in April for RD.

My son applied regular decision in early December and we are waiting also. Should have done ED
