how'd you do on the June 2nd Test??!?!?

@trickster: Well, I missed 5 writing questions on the writing section (with 10 essay) on my last SAT and I got a 680. 8-10 wrong on the CR section may be a high 600/low 700. One wrong on the math section translates to a high 700 or an 800.

@Beejay: the answer to that question was 1983. The easiest way is to keep track of the last digit: 1999, 7, 5, 3, 1, 9, 7, 5, 3. So he started his first term in 1983.

Overall, I think I did competently on this SAT. I don't think there's a question I've missed yet!

OK guys I'm seriously not sure what to do here. I'm basically in the same situation as Burmz. I totally didn't finish the essay. In fact, I didn't even finish my first point. But I think I might have gotten 800 on the math, which would help cause that's what I was shooting for. Should I cancel my test for fear of the really low writing score? Will colleges question the huge drop in composite scores even if they are taking the best of each section? And if someone could direct me to a list of how specific colleges take the SAT score (best section or best composite) that'd be great. Thanks guys.

After bombing the March SAT, I think I did fairly well yesterday =D I know i screwed up on the essay, but I thought CR was easier than usual. The only math q I didn't get was the one with the two x and y equations, and then they ask you to find c. I had no idea how to approach the problem, but I think I was getting something..when the proctor called time. Can anyone tell me what that was about? And as for the writing multiple choice, I expected at least a 700 on the March SAT but ended up with something far worse than that, so I dunno.

trickster:

I'd say your scores will be
Math: 780
CR: 690
Writing: 700

Oh I guess my post got deleted because it was discussing an actual question.

so far

1 wrong in math, 2 left empty.(which could end up being a high 700.)
CR and WR I'm not sure, probably a 9-10 essay, and hopefuly 600+ in both.

trickster2k4: you can get one wrong in math and still get an 800 :D.

i got that on the May SATs :].

ye but it's not usually like that. I heard May was pretty difficult, relatively speaking. June's math portion was definitely not hard in anyway. I think the norm is -1 = 780

overall, i think i did a lot better in june than in march, but i don't want to say anything and have to risk being disappointed with my scores =</p>

I did pretty good overall. I just didn't like CR. I probably feel worse about it, since I had an experimental that I failed, which is okay, since it doesn't count. It probably WASN'T that bad. And Writing was the same as always.

Soo... Prediction = 2200 (give or take 20 points)
720 Writing, 720 CR, 760 Math

Conclusion = June test administration was even BETTER than March :)

essay was ok to write about, pulled some crap out though on it. CR was hard but is always difficult for me. Math was easier than i expected. hope to bring up 1st score of 1950

ick.
Anyway
grammer, vocab....cake.
Essay question...retarted (none like the ones I looked at night b/f so sad....) but I wrote a pretty decent essay
Math: bombed it for each math section there was 2 I couldn't answer b/c I spaced.....and I had to go potty.....No cool
CR: Wow......I hated the Chinese one......

me 2 4 the constant thing I shoulda practiced more on math....
