this is AMAZING, considering that anyone applying to anything higher than UIUC at my school is unheard of. Maybe every few years we get a kid into Northwestern. CRAZY.

3 Yale
3 Penn (11 deffered/rejected tho)
2 Duke
2 Stanford
2 Wellesley
2 Georgetown

Still waiting to hear from Spelman, UGA, and other Rolling Admission schools. All of the deferrals and rejections were big surprises given these students' records so most are now on edge. I'm glad I was admitted early to Amherst.

I come from a public school in Hawaii so we aren't the studs when it comes to grades and scores like some of the guys/girls I've seen on here. So far only three ED/EA have gotten in. Our valedvictorian got into Tufts University, the girl ranked #4 got into BYU-Provo (mormon girl), and I got into Rutgers University.

Public School ~500 students in my class
From what I've heard:
1 MIT (a lot of deferrals)
2 Harvard
2 Cal Tech
1 Penn
5 Michigan
4 U of Chicago
1 Haverford
1 Tufts
6 Boston College

all 11 kids that applied to brown were deferred
