Howis MSU doing there rolling admission-good students get fast acceptance?

Some kids I know (that have very good grades and ACT scores) are getting acceptance letters a quick as 10 days after applying on-line. Is MSU staggering their accpetance, so kid with OK grades and scores are having to wait longer?

Also, when does MSU start offering scholarship incentives, after NOV 1?

Is there pre-acceptance s a freshmen to accouting (like how UM does it with the Ross school of business?)

You are kind of correct. It depends on if you received an invitation to the early notification program. If you did .. they pledge to make a decision by Nov. 6th so in that case sometimes it only takes a couple of weeks to hear back from them. I think that program is based on ACT scores and/or GPA.

It took me a little over a month to hear back from them. I just got my acceptance letter on October 31.

whats this about an invitation to an early notification program?!
how can they do that if you havent applied?
does anyone have any idea how this works...?

I got a mailing from them based off my ACT score I believe, saying that I could apply early and receive an advanced notification.

I don't think the early notification is based off of ACT scores. I have a friend with a 19 ACT who got it.

the early admission invitation was based upon whether you put MSU as your first choice school on your ACT (the section where you filled in where you sent your ACT scores to)

Well I won't be expecting a early notification since I will not send out my ACT scores until I review them first.
