How's AP environmental science?

Hey guys. So for the past two weeks at my school, people have been filling out their schedule requests for next year. I requested AP environmental science. Other students said it’s fun and we get to go on several field trips, so I decided I should do it. However, I’ve never taken an AP science class (I’m a sophomore right now) and I’m hoping someone could tell me more about it. I heard it’s on the easier side of AP classes. Is that true? How did you guys do in the class? Thanks.

I am signed up for it too (I’m a sophomore). I am interested in these responses.

The general consensus is that APES is an easier AP and AP Science. Taking it will be a good start for just taking an AP. The content is pretty cool and is applicable to everyday life. Hope you take it!

The difficulty of a class always depends on the teacher. They have all the power. They are assigning the grades. As far as the AP Exam, again depends. How much did a student study? How well did the class prepare the student for the exam? Is this topic one the student has a natural propensity for?

AP Environmental Science is not actually that easy, but if you pass the AP Exam you can skip it in college without missing much.
