How's Boston College? :D

i just have a question, i visited boston college and loved it a few weeks ago! the only thing that BC lacked that pretty much all the other schools i visited had was some type of student center/union/place where all the students hang out on their free time? so my question, probably for current students, is where do most students really hang out during the day when they are not in the classroom? do the residence halls have lounges/communal areas? how nice are they? thanks!

Well, if you like working out, the plex (has weight room, tennis courts, basketball courts, swimming pool, etc.) is pretty popular. Otherwise you can chill in the dining halls or Hillside Cafe. The first floor of McElroy is supposed to be kind of a student center but it’s a piece of garbage. The CSOM building (Fulton) has some chairs where you can go and contemplate things if you wish to. All the residence halls have lounges, but I dont particularly like going to them. They’re more for studying than chilling out (with the exception of Chevy… that place is impossible to study in).

i felt like bc didnt have as much buildings and facilities as other places even though it is a big school. is there a cinema by any chance hah?

The closest one that my friends and I go to is the theater at the Fenway park stop on the D-line.

Tha feway theater has the best popcorn around, I think

I’m still deciding between BC and Tufts (accepted off waitlist) and you guys made my decision much easier. Especially since I’m signed up for marching band :)
